Conversion of a firm to a limited liability partnership
A firm can apply to the Registrar to convert to a limited liability partnership (LLP).
All LLP conversion applications must be made by a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) who holds a full fiduciary licence from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

LLP conversion submissions are made via the Online Services Portal. Payment of the filing fee can be made by Registry credit account or credit/debit card.
Please note: All LLP members/resident agents must be registered with the Guernsey Registry before submitting the conversion form. This is the same process as registering a director for a company, and if an individual is already registered with the Registry as a director, there is no need to register again.
On receipt of a LLP conversion application, it must be published on the Registry website for 28 days before the conversion can take effect.

Migration of LLPs into/out of Guernsey
LLPs can transfer their registration (migrate) into or out of Guernsey.
All LLP migration applications must be made by a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) who holds a full fiduciary licence from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
