Changes to Registry Fee Schedule - 5 November 2015

On Thursday 5 November, the Commerce and Employment Board approved Regulations regarding the fees payable to the Registrar in respect of his functions under the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008. These Regulations have now been made by the Registrar.

Three changes to the Regulations have been made as follows:

1. There has been a change to the definition of Non-Regulated Company which clarifies that it does not include companies whose resident agent is acting in the course of his/her duties as an employee of a GFSC regulated company. Non-Regulated Companies where this is the case will need to be re-classified.

2. A £25 fee has been introduced when companies register an alternative name in a non-roman script. This facility has been available since the Company Law Amendments came into force on 3 September 2015.

3. The £10 fee to change company details (classification/economic activity code/purpose) has been removed to encourage this information to be up-dated as appropriate.
