Charities/Non Profit and Manumitted Organisations - Consultation April 2014
The Registrar of Non Profit Organisations ("the Registrar") has today published two consultation documents in which he is seeking to obtain comments regarding the oversight of Charities, Non Profit and manumitted organisations (collectively referred to as "NPOs").
This follows the International Monetary Fund's report in 2011 concerning the Bailiwick's compliance with the Financial Action Task Force ("FATF") Recommendations, which made some recommendations in respect of the framework for dealing with NPOs.
